Enforcer,
I don't want to flame you or cause any bad feelings BUT
This place is a free for all except IF YOU ARE flogging stuff through here to make money out of the fellow community members, I will ask you to just think and consider the following..
Someone wrote to me advising me and Rodders to look into some of the prices that you have been flogging your gear for..
Obviously you can do what you want and advertise what you like but others are equally entitled to explain to those that don't understand that they may be able to buy new or something better for the prices that your charging..
THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE..
Just cos Game sells Voodoo5's doesn't mean they are the best GFX Card on the market!

Enf. People trust people on this forum, I have seen many a mug buying a TNT 2 in PC world, because the3y dont know any better. This forum is run by the community for the community, any more silly prices, you will be barred from selling your stuff here and abusing the community trust. As you know, I have no problem with you, but I'm serious on this one, stop taking the micky, because some poor bugger who doesnt know any better, and thinks this board is exactly what it hsould be, that is somewhre ypou can pick up bargains sold by friends to feiends, Not a blooming Cash Converters, is gonna buy something he could of got a hell of a lot cheaper at mainstream prices.

There isn't a law in this country to regulate what an individual can sell an item for. No one is ripping off anyone m8. The old saying buyer beware comes to mind and if u are about to make a purchase no matter how small then u should research it m8. One can never legislate for common sence.
As for price, well m8.... That driver u had posted on the market forum, that has had the f**k laced out of it for £120.... U m8 need to review what u are tender to the public.
I wish people would mind their own and get on with what they know best

I had no idea what price it was worth, and as i bought ot for 200 thouight that would be a fair price. As such have sold it fpor 80 quid, as was told by someone that knew better the value of it. You on the other hand are just charging very high prices, in an attemot to make profits on goods bought for the sole purpose of resale. And as for the who am I question, this board is here for the community, you wanna charg high prices, make ya own forum, and sell you stuff there. Del boy isnt just a member, he owns this board, as such i suggest you heed his advice, and leave it out with the stupid prices, do not take advantage of the trusting individuals that frequent the forum.

i know i posted this on general but i had to sell a bloke a creative geforce 256 for 149.99 cos my boss was watching as he brought it over, id normally advise against it as its a shop joke cos the price is so silly. enforcers prices are above shop mark up on a community forum, and he seems to know this with his winks and smileys.
sorry enf it just looks like a 'double the price and sell on' system yer using here, to yer mates.

Simple thing is that fewer and fewer people will buy things from Mr Enforcer. Not taking sides here, just a fact that people keep reading this type of post and loose all faith in him.
It detriments the entire process 'cos people will be more sceptical of buying things from anyone, but it's always good for people to shop around even with personal sales forums like this.

Yes some of En4rs prices have seemed high compared to what you can buy stuff for now.... but some of the stuff i have seen sold has been more than a fair price... judging by the clued up ppl that bought it and Eddz golf club posts showed its easy to get the price wrong.
All this flammage and ppl falling out with each other and name calling thats getting more than a tad abusive over the prices someone has asked in this forum just seems a bit off to me.
If he posts something at a high price, say what you think its worth, politely if u can manage it, and then it will probs get sold cheaper as more ppl understand the true worth of something.
Theres really no need for all this nastiness coming out imho :-/

to be fair though......
what enf prices his stuff for sale is his bussiness. Users of these forums have been around for years we all know the deal on computer components and such.. so i cant see how any one will part with hard erned cash for an obvious price scam on particular items for sale . just imho :) and if you do then more fool to you. buissness is buissness as they say.
At the end of the day.. we are a community of like minded people...granted their are times and issues we all dont agree on but hey life would be boring if we all followed blindly like a flock of sheep.. so i agree with with the suggestion that if you feel a item for sale is overly priced then simply reply to the ad with a polite message with what you think the item it is really worth..
and then let players bid it out with each other
that way we can keep the good nature and sportsmanship of HLCCL going and along the way freinds get good deals !
