View Full Version : Recording demos-the need to retry

I was thinking,and Im sure many others were too,how good it would be if the problem when you record demos was eliminated.
So many times a good demo has been corrupt because Ive forgot to retry :(
To me (a n00b in these matters)it seems that all the information is there,ie a players location,what they do what weapons they use etc and all thats wrong is the map its applied to.
It would be fantastic if a dll could be developed to play these corrupt demos though I think thats unlikely.
But itd stil be useful if you no longer had to retry to record more than one demo in a chain.
I appreciate what you do is time consuming Bullit,this is just a suggestion if you think you could solve it.After all I only have problems because I never remember to retry :)

I tried fix that a long time ago, sorry to say that it aint possible to fix since the demo is encrypted.
