I dunno if there are any out you out there that can give me an explanation on how to get HL to work on Windows NT 4 version 1381 !? A stab in the dark and a cry for help :alien:

hmm hl wont work on nt unless updated.. sooo installation could b screwing up if u've got the original version..

I thought NT didnt have hardly any directx support?
That could be why

I'd ensure you have service pack 6a and try reinstalling direct x..
