Lo, k, every time I reboot or shutdown, my speakers revert back to 2 in the audioHQ part of the SBLive drivers, I have to manually change it back to 4 and its a pain in the arse :)

Any idea why this is happening and how to sort it?
Cheers.

I have something similar m8, whereby each time i boot i have to re-enable my Microphone.
I also get times when 'reverb' applies itself for no reason.

All under XP, all using most recent drivers and control pannel.

Most annoying.

Here's something that worked for someone else:

Try the following procedure, it worked for me! I had the same problem and it
was somehow caused by AudioHQ being started automatically during the
startup...

1) Configure AudioHQ with the correct speaker settings and close it
2) If present, close AudioHQ in the system tray
3) In Control Panel, under "Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices", choose
"Change the speaker settings"
4) Open the "Volume" tab and select the "Advanced..." option at the bottom;
make sure the correct settings for your speaker are selected.
5) Run "msconfig"
6) Under the "Startup" tab, disable AHQInit and AHQTB, click OK and restart

If you need AudioHQ, run it from the start menu...
