sound problems...pls help ( jugg)

i have an aureal sq2500, running WinXP and when i try to use the voice stuff in the game like the mic then it will make a loud ass noise and i really wanna fix this....also if i try to use roger wilco in game i cannot talk but i can hear what ppl say.....anyone know how to fix this

idd check your mixer settings and mute the mike under playback but don't mute it for recording, should eliminate feedback
