I have that chip with the Abit IT7 Max2 mobo.
The mobo is getting old now, although for its features and current price, i'd have a look at it.

The chip i think is the best price/performance atm.

Memmory, i'd consider the Corsair XMS stuff, all depends on whether your going to overclock it or not m8. If not, then the 333mhz is fine (think thats the PC2700), but you can get the PC3200 for not a lot more cost, and if overclocking is prolly worth the case.

Things such as 8xAGP don't seem to make much difference atm, but perhaps will play a more important role in the future.

Kind of a funny time to upgrade atm, but if you can't wait a month or 2 for the new mobo's and chipsets to come out, i'm sure someone will comment on the Asus.... i have no experience with it myself m8.

Good advice only choice of upgrade if you can afford 3 gig cpus atm... AMD dual ddr mobos just cannot compete
