if u had a geforce2 ti200 or something like that or a Radeon 8500 which would u use for half-life ( or which would work better fps wise......i want the most stable fps with a3d....) I am running a P4 1.6........and if theres any tweaks or whatever let me know pls... :E

Well the gfx has nothing to do with A3D, so take that out of the equation.
If your then looking at a direct comparison of the GF2 ti200 and teh 8500, there's no competition. The Rad 8500 is still an awesome card, and I had no probs running mine at 1024x768 with constant 100fps and never ever dropping below 99 :)

Also able to get around 14,000 3DMark2001SE points, which isn't too bad still by todays standards.

The closest GF cards to compare it with has to be the GF4 family.
The 4200ti's are worth looking at as they're low in price, but personally i've always been a fan of the ati cards, and if you use it for more than just games, the Hydrovision and image quality is un-matched with the ATI's.
