1.8a Northwood at 2.4-2.5gig depending on summer/winter ;)

With a 1.6a you could run yours even faster than mine due to a higher fsb, but I'd say aim for similiar to mine and it should be rock solid. Just hope you got some decent ddr preferably 2700 upwards.

Very basic fans in case, retail heatsink & fan on cpu, with a little bit of artic silver 3 thermal compound.

Think I idle at 41-43 roughly, never overheats anyways when under load including heavy duty games such as ut2003 etc

omg ;)

then you have a problem I feel ;(

Which mobo? Then again I'm only running 133 fsb.... 1.8 chip at 133 fsb = 2.4 gig... Just that I use a memory divider to run my samsung 2700 at upwards of 180 using a 4/3 rato to fsb

My 2.53 runs stable at 3.2 gig
I never run it like that for long. Benched it for 24 hrs on PRIME95... it was fine, i put it back to standard.

Good cooling, and a good Motherboard to regulate the power and P4's will clock very very well.
