Xp security

Brother having a little prob with folder persmissions on XP pro , normally under folder > properties there is a security tab atm he is not able to c the tab.

He has formatted using NTFS and is logged in under the admin account.

Any ideas ? can't test myself as h8 XP and would never use/buy it.

Try going to - Tools, folder options then the view tab. See if simple file sharing is ticked, if it is untick it because you wont get a security tab with it on.

by default the c drive will be hidden but you can access with the $

i.e \\computername\c$ but this wont work as a guest account.
Also make sure that you have file and print sharing enabled then you can share it out (not recommended)
