Arrow keys and Shift key problem...

Hello...

I got a big problem with my Shift and arrow keys...
Somehow they work together.
So when i push forward / backward my character ducks.
Now I thought this problem only occurd in HL... but I played Vice City and suddenly I had it there 2... anyone had this problem before ?? I only got it in XP... in 98 no probs... I got ATI Radeon 9700 pro... tried all drivers... I tried all mobo drivers... nothing works :(

If you have the solution / suggestions.. plz lemme hear them.

nope m8... not keyboard drivers... not cfg... dunno what it is...

sounds to me like your running a program in the background which has a key combination making the game act funny..

for example MSN plus had a key combo of ctrl+space...

if i ducked (ctrl) i couldnt sec fire (space) it made things go weird :O

hmmmm, thanx ZeroCool... that might very well be it... cause when I reinstalled pc, after a while the problem occurd again.... thnx m8, gonna test it now :D

w00000t... thanx allot zerocool... something called ATIPTAXX caused me the probs... think it is the ATI control pannel or something, anyways... Thank you very very much... now only gotta get my a3d fixed :D
