voice mic not working in a3d?? help!

for some reason... when i have A3d on. My mic won't work in game. Says that the device is being used by something else when i enter the game... and that I won't be able to hear/talk to my teammates.

When i disable A3d.. .i can hear teammates.. but can't talk to them. If i reconnect... its the same.

i have the a3d configs from this site...

running 98se and a Aureal Vortex2 soundcard.


Is this a setting in my control panel?? that will fix it?


any HELP would be appreciated.

OK .... wtf.

i had it fixed... now when i go in game.... there is no "sound icon" next to my name. Can't hear anyone or speak to anyone.

weird shite.

any thoughts?
