There is no official way to uninstall windows installer. If you're lucky just a reinstall of windows will fix it, if your unlucky a clean install will be needed.
There is a manually way that I read about in usenet, but I really don't advise it:
1. call "msiexec /unregserver"
2. locate the follwoing file within WINSYSDIR and remove/rename them."msi.dll", "msiexec.exe", "msihnd.dll", "msisip.dll"
3. If you can't remove (some of) them, due to usage locks, reboot the system and try again.
4. If rebooting on NT, W2K, XP does not remove the locks, ensure removal of MSI service footprint in the registry.
