Hard Drive making scraping/scratching type noises

Im a bit worried about it :(

the drive is a couple of years old now, but holds my entire mp3 collection, hence i dont want it dying on me.

Does this sort of noise mean that complete failure could be on the cards?

Deffo sounds like platters

If its IBM, there's a diagnostic tool you can get, but need more info.
