My FPS is real bad in it. Around 40 at best 10 to 20 normally.
this means its impossible to play.
now I may not have the best system in the world but it plays Q3 and Jedi knight 2 fine.
My system Is Athlon 700, Geforce 2mx and 512mb ram.

Anyone got any ideas to tweak the game, without new hardware :) ?

Theres prob not a lot you can except turn everything down and get the latest drivers for ya stuff.
Its a bit power hungry this game, as will alot of the newer directx8 games that will appear over the next few weeks etc.
A hardware upgrade is prob needed to get the most outta this and other new games coming.

I get apalling fps on this game as well

Still think I got iffy GF3 and Abit mobo

Mobo wont O/C at all, seen posts about others with it but Abit deny problem

ANyway, turning down to 16 bit and options to medium / low I still only get 50 fps ish

Got Abit KR7A-Raid, 256mb PC2100 Crucial, Asus V8200 GF3

Still poooo

Also, game is so jerky, the players seem to miss about 5 frames in momevent in close quarter fights. :(

Exactly.
I know my system isnt great but it should run better than this 20-40 fps.
I ran Max payne np, Jedi knight 2 np, and SoF 2 test np and SoF 2 uses the same engine.
Looking round some mohaa forums a lot are having problems and a most reckon a patch will be out.

ISP suxs nowadays m8
May well be some factor
I phone virgin to get my 0845 dial re-activated, which he said he had done but it still fails to login :/
£1 a minute and they still dont resolve problem.

Will try an 0845 connection which theoritically will be less chokey than the FRIACO shitty 24/7 numbers.

2drunk have u tried the surftime 0844 numbers, ive been on that for about 14 months now and pig is ace.
27 quid a month for the isp tho, but better than 0845.
i hear that in some areas tho its poo.
