Windows XP Pro Expert Needed

I have this annoying problem and hoped some kind person here could help us out alittle.

If i select system restore via accessories\system tools nothing happens.
When i right click My Comp and select system restore i get the following error message:-

"Shell32.dll,control_RunDll" C:\Windows\system32\Sysdm.cpl

Can someone suggest a fix for my problem, so that i can get System restore working again.

btw I have made sure System restore is activated in the registery.

tbh m8 it sucks
Much better using something like Norton Ghost to just periodically image your OS partition, and replace it as necessary.
You could try running the XP setup, and choosing repair a broken installation, which should replace all the broken dll's etc (like the one mentioned).

Not guaranteed to work, but worth a try.
If you turn it off btw, you'll save a load of disk space.

delete the files its moaning about..

goto c:\windows\driver cache\i386

make sure you have the latest winrar installed.

you will find a file called drivers.cab in that dir.. open it and find the files you deleted.. then simply copy them out to the correct places..

this will repair them with having to go through the repair thing :)
