Win2k and Audigy!

just installed Win2000 and changed my a3d card for an audigy...
only when i'm IN hl my max_fps = 60 ...normally 99
and everything running ok till someone runs thru my screen :/
then my fps is 25 / 30..
anyone has an idea?
maybe it's the agp4x driver i have to install....

win2k (doh)
GF 2 MX (asus v7100)
640 MB SDRAM (133 mhz)
MSI with via chipset..
P3 600 @ 733
SB Audigy, 3com standard 10mbit card
latest detonator XP driver
DirectX 8.1

did u installed drivers for ur mobo ??
had the same prob in win2k til I installed the drivers !
