Network my XBOX

Any tips welcome :)

Ive bought a crossover network cable for the xbox and i want to use it to d/l games then transfer them onto it.
How do i set it up?
I guess theres more to it than just plugging the cable in!

if so plug cable in, connect to router or whatever & use FlashFXP to gain access

Dont have a router.

Was gonna plug from network card to xbox, can i do that?

yep, just gotta know your IP on your pc, set that as default gateway in yer config, reset xbox and it will assign an ip to the box. connect to that and away you go.
