Wierd Modded Xbox Problem.

My mate's xbox is modded, dunno what chip though.
Anyway was working fine but now it won't dispay anything.
Sound plays ok,you can hear it even from ripped dvd's but screen is just black with the occasional flicker.
I have took it too bits and everything is seated ok and the wire underneath is sound.
Any ideas ?

is the game that ur playing ntsc or pal?

coz when i had my playstation chipped, ntsc game were in black and white flickered but pal games played fine

but on xbox ntsc games normally run fine, but may be depends on chip ?

ntsc games need a 60hertz tele, so unless the tele hes playing on is really old, it should work fine on any.

but thats if its the problem that im thinking of :)

maybe try it un modded and with an original disc ?
