Unuseable equipment due to totally useless Telco.

Less than a month old, used as a switch on a network but never used as an actual ADSL modem, despite many connection attempts due to numerous duff info from previously mentioned crap telco.

Offers invited or would swap for large BT Tower sized bomb.

BT sympathisers need not apply cos I would rather smash into tiny little bits with a sledgehammer than sell it to one of you souless ppl.

If you haven't used it, and its less than a month old, might be worth seeing if they'll take it back?

Its a damn good router.

Give them a call Dilb they will probably take it back minus a bit o' cash.

Not done owt with this yet cos I am having one last try to bust through the buracratic nightmare that is BT ....... through our account manager at work (and a mention of a story sent to The Reg) I now have a BT Customer Support Manager involved and he reckons he will be able to get it resolved for me.

Agreed m8 seems a very nice device even just messing with the configs and using it as a switch... not managed to update it yet to 8.2 but ive only tried once so far anyway and I am lead to believe its a bit hit and miss so may just need a few more attempts.

Well hopefully I wil get to use it very soon cos its quite depressing having a luvly piece of kit sat there along with the wireless network stuff ive added to it and not be able to use it on an adsl connect ;(

Sorry, I am holding on to it for a bit now, my adsl install has been resurected and may actually take place now ..... but i aint holding me breath yet.
