is it possible to fit a DVD writer in the Xbox?

A m8 of mine has a buggered DVD drive in his xbox and asked me if it's possible to fit a DVD writer into it?
I thought this sounded like a rather good idea....but is there any xbox software about that will burn discs too?

No.
Although I have a dvd writer in mine coz my xbox dvd is buggered too, just for reading disks.
have to keep putting it back in me pc to burn stuff :/

u can fit a dvd writer into your xbox but it won't read original disks, only copies.
