Halflife 1 problem

Think it is a nero related problem that compressed the files as they are smaller now......have mislaid the nero disc now ffs
and yes |I did own it as I got it with my new Sony DVD burner :P

Ok...it was a Nero problem, I d/l the trial version and got my back up copy of HL1 back on board, only prob now is that in Stalkyard eitehr end of boxes the fps drops to 80, had something similar b4 when they dropped to 50 about 6 months ago, that time it was mobo drivers, this time I have them and no joy, also have refreshlock (every other map seems ok) so any help would be appreciated.

in case u didnt know,+r means u have to be authed with q (to stop 13 year olds taking over the channels)
with regards to the fps drop I suggest not playing spamyard and playing something requiring more skill ;)
