if u have any major probs (internal svr error 500s) pls post here with details on wot u were doing. (code error from when i was fiddling)

i will be playing allthough listed as NOT AVAILABLE in the DB this sunday.. moony said it was ok.. cause my old CDKE always says
cdkey in use' when i join HL so i had to change mine, and update my wonid (delete and re-add profile) .. i wanted to do this last friday.. which woulda made it 1 week before sunday.. but since DB was down I couldn't and thereby i spoke to moony and he told me it's ok to play this sunday alltho not available due to this.. as long as i just update my profile when DB is back up again... and this isn't any rule exception of any sort btw.. it just happened because HLCCL.com crashed.. so some exceptions have to be made so players don't get nailed because of the hlccl server crash.

just posting so no one will disagree or bring it up on sunday..

right ive done a few things:
(please feel free to whine and insult me if ive forgotten anything :))

1. changed stazis' wonid to 21804
2. ACE|SLAG is now regged in RFC
3. i deleted FN.. now EVERYONE who WAS regged can join other clans and whoever was going to resurrect FN under a different name or saiing can do. (i do we originally discussed just changing the name.. but i can only do that from the db and i have no ftp access atm :mad: )
4. HOP1 & HOP2 becoming HOPWAR - I have not been able to do that yet for the ftp reason above

if theres anything else that i HAVE to deal with pls post here :)

BTW I tried to enter all our clan members in the link you mentioned above http://www.hlccl.com/old/, but our clan appears neither in the clan section nor in the waiting list.

To me no problem, I just wanna make sure that everything will be fine when we play. :)

oki golem.. thats kinda my fault.. ive noticed that one or more of your players dont have unique wonids.

do an id search on all of the them and add your players without that player/s

the checker works.. but the script that shows who is duplicated and who their clan leader is, is a little fluffed atm :hmph:

its browser side. i say that as i just created a test clan.. added and deleted a player fine

goto the clanlogin page and do the browser setup..

plus if you're on XP and didnt upgrade to it i suggest u search google for

java virtual machine

download and install it (the version ur after is for win95/98/me/xp) 2k has its own

SuperFly, I'm sorry to bother you again, but I tried everything to delete a player... didn't work out.

What I tried to do is changing a players won id:
Mr Wolf from 216599 (old) to 1554835 (new). So I added Mr Wolf 1554835, and then tried to delete the old record Mr Wolf 216599. All I get is "Page cannot be displayed".

And yes, I read your posts "how to do it", but maybe I'm a bit slow... Could you delete the old record please or tell a retarded (I'm talking 'bout me) how to do it?

i can login to the tbuk (mav.. u havent changed the password yet :P) and add and delete players fine

the normal clan logins all use the same scripts so if it works for me it should work for you :confused:

Hmmm... seems to be a tuffie.

Updated to Internet Explorer 6 (yuck!), and made all settings according to the Browser Setup Guide (security, cookies and so on).

/edit ...and rebooted system, although Explorer didn't ask for... I'm obeing your orders like a german WWII-soldier... :P

right click on the page that says 'cannot b displayed' click properties and have a look at the page address.. wot page is it trying to open?

I'm only using a firewall, no popup detectors. I also tried with firewall disabled... didn't help.

the hlccl site shows no page as there is no page :P its just the frameset to the the playerdb working with a gui

a stray replace statement was in it. i noticed when u posted the link it was searching for was 'MrWolf' instead of 'Mr Wolf'.

the damn replace statement was clearing the field of the spaces as it sent to the delete script.

in other words telling it to delete a player that didnt exist :(
