Some of you may remember I got the I-river 40 gig mp3 player for my 40th last year and I was never completely happy with it, not being loud enough was one of my main gripes, cost of it was €449
Well this xmas my gf bought her brother a Creative Micro zen and I bought her one( €279)and last night decided to compare with the exact same song playing in the 2 of them and the best sound/quality was her fking Creative!!!!!

Also the bog standard headphones that came with the I-River (b4 I switched to an expensive set) were absolutly crap and the standard with the Creative are quite quite good just a notch below my expensive Sonys

Just thought I would post this for anyone not sure about what to get.

I've got an i-HP140 and ahve to say the sound quality and volume are both excellent. I never use the stock headphones supplied with any portable audio as they are always uncomfortable for me.

Ya Cahonis the sound prob is good with YOUR music, Punk music is almost 99% of teh time produced shyte/inferior to "normal" music titles/artists

;]

I am keeping the i-River now as I have it a better soundnow then the Zen and far more options etc

The Creative is a good little baby though......

A] No not the qulaity of mp3's but most Punk music is independently produced

B] Any other music besides Punk is "YOUR MUSIC" etc :|
