I have just bought a PowerColor 9800 Pro 128Mb card to replace my old struggling GF3. The problem i am having is when it is installed, my monitor wont start up from standby. The PC seems to be booting up fine from the sound of the hard drive and the fan on the gfx card is spinning so seems to be getting power ok.
I have checked the card is seated ok ,all leads are plugged in properly and have tried clearing the cmos but still nothing.
My setup is:
Abit KT7 Raid M/b
AMD Athlon 1.2ghz
756MB PC133
Asus 400w PSU
1 x Quantum Fireball 60Gb HD
Any help or ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
