Ok I wanna get an LCD screen and have seen one from Iiyama which quite takes my fancy (the AS4315 in black :P).

Does Iiyama's good reputation extend to LCD screens? Or should i be looking elsewhere to get a decent LCD screen.

Hi, I just got a 15inc iiyama flat screen, its ok but not good for games (75hm refresh although I'm told there is no such thing as a refresh rate on LCD's (relative)). I was told that DVI may solve this, however I'm not an expert on it. Does any1 have any info on it - would it seem like a 100hz refresh for example?

i think its response time with TFT's. The faster the respnse time the better the image and it will eliminate the "ghosting" effect ya get with TFTs.

The LOWER the response time the better, think most are at 35 (or 30 ?)
Some news one (Expensive) are 25 I think.
Looked a while back b4 deciding to get a normal 19" Iiyama 454
