skating/sliding prob in hl2.

Hey guys I feel like a techy forum whore with all these questions in here but i was just playing a match online and everything was going hunky dory, the connection was good and not too much lag,then all of a sudden i started skating and sliding around,it got so bad i couldnt even stand still.Going up ladders/stairs was fun too because i would get to the top but then keep on sliding/skating higher.My default(with the star"*" next to setting in video)is everything on high so i turned everything down a notch,including res from 1024x768 down to 860x640,and shadows off and all the other stuff and it seemed to get worse.

I have had the prob before,but now it is really starting to pea me off,it ruins my enjoyment off this game.So does anyone know how to sort it out,or if any of you have this problem too.

specs:2.6 p4
768 ram
128mb geforce ti 4200 8xagp
broadband
120gb ram

Any suggestions??

It's a bug in the game, most people experience at one time or another.

lol ye, fking thing should be fixed in next patch if they have any fking decency.
