Scored 21 points on the back 9 yesterday with a 8 on the 18th which is an easy hole. My short game needs a lots work. Was putting for 3 birdies on back nine and got none of em. :(

First round back on my home course:
22 points
It made me wince.
Its a fkin tough course if your not straight of the tee.
Managed 35 and 37 since then though. I might actually play a bit between now and next HLCCL golf weekend ;)
home course is Meyrick Park btw.

Stableford system badger
3 points for a net birdie
2 points for a net par
1 point for a net bogey
0 for worse than that
So level your handicap for the round would be 36. So when these bandits such as Mick comes in with a 42 or something grrrrrrr :D

Ahh :D
Another stupid question...
how would you apply your handicap to individual holes?

Each hole has an "si" (stroke index" which basically ranks the holes in order of toughness, si.1 being the hardest, si.18 the easiest.
If your a handicap is for example 12, then si.1 - si.12 gives you a shot. So if si.7 is a par 4, and you get a 5 then thats a "net" par, which is 2 points.
If your off 28, then you'll get 1 shot per hole, and 2 shots on si.1 - si.10

That makes sense now :D
Now to actually buy some clubs of my own and actually learn to play, lol.

Na I aint off 18 I'm off 23. Its ok putting for Birdies, but i can 3 put and finish up with a bogie. Where as you lower handicappers would probably get da birdies. :)
