Mine would be at our home course earlier this year with luggs in a Better ball matchplay comp.
Luggs wasnt hes usual self, in bb you give a lot of putts of course. I always score in better ball to see how ive done anyway, 2 greens i didnt putt out cause wed won the hole or luggs had already scored, i was on the green with 2 makeable putts. If id holed em both id have scored a 69, if id missed em both id have scored a 71.
Maybe its because you take a hole at a time or theres less pressure than medal but my best rounds have been in better ball this year.

80 +11 At my home course. Which isnt easy. About 18 months ago. Be lucky to shoot in the 80s at the moment tbh.

36 points stableford Last Week with scoring 1 point on the last four holes :(

70 round aycliffe 9 hole course when i was 15 (twice round) of 6 but wasnt as easy then as it is now!!

really struggling at the moment but things are improving steadily and 36 points proves that.

Not played since the last HLCCL Golf weekend and doubtful I will play before the next one..... by comparison Ajay :) sounds like he has played virtually every day lately (benefits of working from home for an American company) and phone me on his way back from the course this morning to say he had been round in 80 which he has done a few times recently ! One to watch at the next one I reckon !

I shot a 69-73 when I was a lot younger and could actually play the game to become the first club champion at Hunley Hall Golf Club.
Its a par 73 course almost 7000 yards, and I played out of my skin.

My name is still the first name on that board in their club house, and will always be that way. That was more pleasing than winning the day, as mine is the first name anyone would see for the next 50-100 years :)

Best actual round of golf was a gross 66 at my home course, although that too was done in my younger day's when I wasn't actually a member. I've only managed to break 70 in recent years when playing off the Yellow Tee's, so I don't count that.

Most disappointing round was 6 weeks ago, I was 5 YES 5 under par on the front 9, and ended up with a gross 78 ffs. Had a 11 on my card, and no I didn't loose any balls :(
TIP - Take your medicine when in a bush and have a penalty drop. Trying to play out of it cost me 7 shots :(

My best round was a gross 84. I dint play very well from tea to green. But I counted just 27 putts in the whole round. I couldn't miss that day. :)

You'll find it difficult to play wearing a straight jacket :)
