Pure Chaos retires from HL2DM

Yes, you've read it well.

From December 2004 to now, when HL2DM was released, we have played this game and I am proud to say that Pure Chaos is undefeated in official matches; Clanbase Cup, Clanbase HL2DM TDM Ladder, Pure eSports Cup and the HL2CCL Cup.
Grabbing the gold cup in these 3 cups and being the undefeated leader of the TDM Ladder on Clanbase has certainly made me and Okkie really proud.
Thanks to good efforts and a friendly atmosphere we have bikkeled our way through tough matches and rough times and we always managed to show with a full lineup, which seems quite unique nowadays.

Unfortunately, for some time now the scene has been quite inactive, the competition seems lost, and AG2 and the HL2CCL have an unsecure future. To PC this means there is nothing left to play for, except some fun games against new and existing clans, but it's not the same as it used to be in the beginning.
Also, new games are soon to be released. Evildos will most likely get hooked on Quake 4, Gunslinger and Eden will continue playing CS:S. Renkie has been inactive for a while but should not be forgotten for the efforts he made in the very beginning and the countless times he showed up and owned. Me and Okkie will be trying to keep PC's reputation up in Call of Duty 2.

So this is it, the end of one of the most succesfull periods in PC's gaming history since 1999. I'm proud to say that although we live in separate countries and lead separate lives, we still managed to become good friends and always stood up for eachother :). Bikkelstyle is how I'd like to call that.

The too small scene and the countless bugs and no support by valve were the reason to quit and go on with another game.. shame but we had enough of that!

well IK owned as hard as PC imho, but sad to c u leave, I remember PC from the very old HL1 times and they always were friendly, strong and bikkelmeisters.

I never liekd HL2 and I think u r right about AG2 and whatsoever bugfixes will come to late. The game started with the kind of popularity that HL1 had lost after a few years :(
