Your budget should have been 1337 € :'(

anyways you can get hell of a nice compy with that much money

(I recommend the 7800 Geforce series tbh even if i got an ATI atm lol)
and some nice AMD64 proc, some corsair memory... a SB XFi a 250gb hdd...
dvd burner all that kinda crap :D

only real difference in rams is if you're overclocking. If not you could get generic and save a lot of money without too much of a performance hit. You could get 2 gig ram and save some cash this way. If you are overclocking then tccd chip based ram is the best atm for high frequencies. the corsair 4400 stuff is also good.

I would also agree on the 7800 gtx at the moment. Seems better than the newest ati cards for now. Not sure about sli vs crossfire yet if you are planning on two card lunacy.

amd 3500 or above. the dual core 3800 is reasonable priced

dfi or asus sli board if overclocking. any nforce 4 board if not

dont skimp on the power supply

pioneer dvr 110 burner

soundblaster xfi sound card as alba says but you could make do with on board so I would make this the last thing on the list
