Halo3 Game Modes

Am I just been dumb, or is there no way to just play death-match online?

Only option I could find is the "Lone Wolf" category which also includes oddball and king of the hill, which although fun to play now and then, I'd rather play death-match unless I choose otherwise.

Have I missed an option somewhere?

There appears to be a team death-match option along with lots of options for other styles of team games. But no pure death-match?

i've not played it myself, but if it's anything like COD3 or something similar on the 360, maybe you can select a player match rather than ranked match? that sometimes gives you different options

i think you want to select rumble pit and go for slayer games
