Ive still got a 56k modem !!!

Although the thought of actually plugging it in now makes me start shuddering ........ so much so I am giving it away to someone this weekend cos I dont want it sat on me desk staring at me anymore ..... make sme feel uneasy :cry:

Reason why i do is because of the amount of ppl that dropped out of the last one. Not that im annoyed at them or anything, they had their reasons :)

But it proved very very difficult to organise it wen i didnt know if i was comin or goin :/

Also shall i do another groups into knockouts again? or hass ppl got any ideas as to a better system for the comp?

i meant ppl on a higher connection playin in 56k but havin 120 ping due to the distance, if u wana play from another country on a modem, then send me an email.

i got my diamond supraExpress 56e for about 60 at pc world, i think, my have cost more than that. Best modem u can get tho.

U can play then badger :)

Hmm..me got a shitty 56k internal modem and me really think me wont be able to part with it now ..so gonna get the best that i can get from a 56k and just stick with it ..untill a really good offer 4 adsl cums out
