Server Bookings In Here

If you have a clan and want to use my server for clan parccys I am quite happy for it to be used in this way so long as it doesnt get to a point where its being hogged continually for clan praccys or by a singe clan and that its posted here before hand that a prarcy is booked ..... this must be done at least a couple of hours before the actual praccy is due to start !

I am sorting out rcon atm so ppl will be bale to change maps and stuff, although from what ive read this stuff is all voteable anyway.


So far

92nd have it booked for Tues & Thurs 9pm

Thing is, with 16 peeps 2 clans could use it at same time.

Aye suppose so m8 depending on how many is in the clan, either way all i wanna see is the best possible use of it being made without pl starting to fall out with each other.

No doubt if 92nd have a parccy they will be looking to praccy with someone .... maybe that could be a team of adhocs if they have 8 players

The server now has tickets set to 23, so maps are over in no more than 15 seconds.

No admin access or admin around

16 people on the server waiting to play :(

tickets were at 200 on Guadalcanal, and as more ppl joined the tickets got less.
Maybe tickets are worked out on % ratio.

m8 youve sent me gawd knows how many ICQ's and PMs about this and each time ive been telling you that ive been trying to sort this out, its not fecking easy to do given that theres very little documentation been written so far for server admins.

I spent a good couple of hours in the early hours of this morning trying to sort the ticket issue out ...... if only it was as simple as entering 200 tickets in the config .... but it ****ing aint.... 200 seemed to equal 10000 tickets when i was testing it last night, and after much fecking about in game and hopping back and forwards to vnc (remote console commands is whole diff story that dont seem to work well) 2 seemed to equal 200 tickets on the server...... why its different now god only knows :-/

If anyone has an idiots guide on how to set these up then feel free to post it ..... any help would be appreciated.

Its dead easy to start a server through the GUI but getting it working with proper configs is a whole diff story....... if only this was all i had to do eh :-/

Sorry for sounding off like that , but i had just got off the server m8 and had 15 other ppl not to happy.

Yeah i know must be hard as the game is v new.

It would have been better to communicate, but thats something that requires both parties..

But hey, u live and u learn i suppose.


btw, after about 30 mins of fevking about we got someone to crete a svr, back off there now..

The main problem withb the server has been making it so that things like enable remote rcon and enable map vote were carried over when the map changed or the server restarted.... none of this was explained in the initial docs that came with dedicated server.

Ive had a trawl around this morning on the net and the orignal FAQ i used for getting the server running has now been updated with stuff for the dedicated server (the original one was for the demo server and some of it just didnt work for dedicated :-/)

Given a little time this evening I am sure I can get it working just right.
